It has finally happened! The first half of the year is over, and the 2nd half is well on its way. The galley staff did it’s usual amazing job, and the place never looked better. We stuffed ourselves with appetizers and cocktails, followed up by the main course of lobster and beef. After dinner the band played (with their third name of the season), and the party just kept on going. The next day those who weren’t too hungover went out for a bonfireĀ outside, and then ended the weekend with the traditional midwinter showing of “The Shining”. Next week…4th of July celebrations! By the way, I’m in the left hand side of the group picture wearing a clown wig. It seemed like a good idea at the time…..
